Storyteller and novelist. Occasional poet. Perpetually fending off writer’s block.
I am a fiction writer who delights in dabbling: poetry, short fiction, and full length novels, usually more than one at a time. The goal never really changes. I want to drop you into a vivid world and leave you with people worth arguing about.
I was born and raised in the Bronx, a first generation American with Filipino roots, and I write from South Florida now. My interests are vast and quirky, with a sprinkling of fantasy and a pinch of macabre.
Fair warning, though: if a bridge turns up in one of my stories, there is a real chance I just think bridges are cool.
Four books are in print, and a fifth, Everything In Between, arrives in Fall 2026. A fantasy novel, Keeper’s Log: The Earth Witches of Terha, has been in progress since 2011 and is currently winning most of our arguments. I am happiest when something I wrote brings someone a glimmer of encouragement, entertainment, or joy.
